Battery installation
1, because the battery with liquid charge factory, after opening the box when handling, please move the bottom of the battery, to be gently held and put, do not hold the terminals to move the battery, not to use the terminals to lift the battery.
2, it is strictly prohibited to open the battery valve, otherwise it will lead to poor sealing of the battery, affecting the performance and life of the battery.
3, the same group of batteries should be the same specification products, not allowed to mix the products made by different manufacturers.
4, the battery should be used in well-ventilated conditions, do not allow the battery to be installed in a closed container or space. Avoid direct sunlight and keep away from heat generating objects.
5. When installing, please use insulated tools to avoid electric shock.
6, the installation of the battery should fully consider the heat dissipation of the battery, the distance between the batteries should be maintained at least 10mm.
7, battery wiring, please connect the batteries to each other. Then, connect with the charging equipment and load. Connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery to the positive and negative terminals of the charging equipment and the load. And carefully check whether the bolts and nuts are tightened (the torque of the connecting bolts is about 1N.m)
8, to get the expected service life, please choose the automatic current limiting and voltage regulating charging equipment with over-voltage, under-voltage and over-current protection of ±1.5% of the regulating accuracy, and the ripple current should be controlled within ±0.05C10.
9, battery replenishment
The battery should be in a fully charged state when it is put into operation. After the installation is completed by replenishment of electricity before use, according to the length of the storage period of the battery, replenishment system please refer to "Table I".
Storage time | Replenishment system (current ≤ 0.25 C10) |
Not more than 2 months | No need to replenish electricity, directly carry out the use |
Not more than 6 months | Charge at 2.3V/unit constant voltage for 48 hours, or 2.4V/unit voltage for 24 hours. |
Not more than 12 months | 96 hours of constant voltage charging at 2.3V/single, or 48 hours of voltage charging at 2.4V/single. |
Not more than 24 months | 144 hours of constant voltage charging at 2.3V/single unit, or 96 hours of voltage charging at 2.4V/single unit. |
Use
1, the maximum permissible discharge current is shown in Table II
Maximum discharge current | Maximum discharge time |
3C10 | 3min |
Damage to the battery may occur if the maximum discharge current of the battery is exceeded or if the maximum discharge time is exceeded at the maximum discharge current.
2, the battery should not be left for a longer period of time after discharging, and should be charged immediately after discharging and brought to a fully charged state.
3, Float charging operation
Under the environment of standard temperature 25℃. The float charging voltage is 2.23V/unit. If the ambient temperature is higher than 25℃, the float charging voltage should be decreased and vice versa should be increased. Float charging voltage correction factor is ±3mv/°C/monomer.
4. Cycling
4.1 If the battery is in cycling state, it shall be charged according to the following principles.
When the ambient temperature is 25℃, the initial maximum current of battery charging shall be controlled within 0.25 C10. Charge at the equalized charging voltage of 2.35~2.4V of single cell voltage, the specific charging time is as follows "Table III". (If the ambient temperature is higher or lower than 25℃. (If the ambient temperature is higher or lower than 25℃, the correction factor of equalized charging voltage is ±4mv/℃/single cell.)
Total charging time (h)Total charging time (h)
Depth of discharge | Constant current initial current value | Total charging time (h) |
20% | 0.25 C10 | 8 |
50% | 0.25 C10 | 12 |
80% | 0.25 C10 | 16 |
100% | 0.25 C10 | 24 |
4.2 If the device can only be charged in the state of the float charging voltage. The replenishment time is shown in "Table IV".
Depth of discharge | Constant current initial current value | Total charging time (h) |
20% | 0.25 C10 | 12 |
50% | 0.25 C10 | 24 |
80% | 0.25 C10 | 48 |
100% | 0.25 C10 | 96 |
The above charging time is a reference value, as the battery is in use, or the ambient temperature is lower than 25℃±5℃. The charging time should be extended accordingly.
5, the best use of the battery ambient temperature is 25 ℃ ± 5 ℃.
Inspection and maintenance of battery during operation
1, the battery should be inspected and maintained during operation, and complete operation records should be made accordingly.
2. Regularly check the appearance and voltage of the battery. Specifically as follows:
2.1 Check once a month: 1) Mainly check whether the total value of the battery's float voltage is consistent with the provisions of "II.3". 2) Each battery should be adjusted. 3) Each battery's float voltage should be adjusted. 4) Each battery's floating voltage should be adjusted. Otherwise, adjustments should be made. 2) Whether the float charging voltage of each individual battery is in accordance with the deviation range of ±0.1V/individual battery. Otherwise, the manufacturing company should be notified to deal with it. 3) Check the battery for night leakage, damage, etc. 4) Check the battery connecting wires for looseness. 5) Check the safety valve for looseness.
2.2 Three-month inspection: 1) Repeat the items of one-month inspection. 2) The batteries that have not been deeply discharged during the operation of the battery pack shall be deeply discharged once, and the depth of discharge is generally required to be discharged to the voltage of the battery single unit between 1.85~1.90V. And record the discharge time and discharge current. After discharging, charge according to "4.1 and 4.2".
CAUTION
1. Do not allow the battery to be close to the fire source, and do not allow the battery to be put into the fire under any circumstances.
2, when sulfuric acid touches the human body or clothes, it should be immediately flushed with water, splashed into the eyes immediately with a large amount of water, and should be immediately close to the nearest medical care.
3, for installation, inspection, maintenance, should be strictly in accordance with the electrician's regulations. Pay attention to the use of protective tools and facilities.
4, when cleaning the battery, please note that it can not be carried out with objects that are easy to generate static electricity. Do not use organic solvents. Only use a slightly damp cloth to clean.
